50 Year Company History
Lon Adams and Barny Adams, father and son entered the real estate business in 1949. They formed their own company, Adams & Adams in Castro Valley in 1956. In 1968 they designed and built their own building, The Colonial Square Center, as a home office. Later the building was selected as outstanding design for real estate operations. Lon Adams retired in 1973.
In September 1984, Max Morris joined the firm. On January 10, 1985 a new corporation was formed, Adams, Adams & Morris, Inc. The company utilized Max Morris' experience to expand the Commercial, Investment and Property Management aspect of the business.
Barnard S. Adams served as a Chairman of the Board through October 1990.
